Jodie Renner of Penticton is a fiction editor and blogger who has written three editor’s guides to writing fiction, Fire up Your Fiction, Captivate Your Readers, and Writing a Killer Thriller. She has also published two time-saving e-resources, Quick Clicks: Spelling List and Quick Clicks: Word Usage. Her newly edited anthology is Voices from the Valleys – Stories & Poems about Life in BC’s Interior, with proceeds to Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF.ca). It will be followed by Childhood Regained – Stories of Hope for Asian Child Workers (2016), another anthology for charity. Jodie Renner grew up in the interior of BC, attended UBC and SFU, and taught in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. After living in Ontario for 30 years, she has returned to BC to be around her family. Jodie Renner specializes in editing thrillers, romantic suspense, mysteries, and other fast-paced, suspenseful fiction. She received her master’s degree in literature and became an English and French teacher and, later, a school librarian. A mother of two, she also enjoys photography and traveling. Most recently she has compiled and edited 51 contributors for Voices from the Valleys: Stories & Poems about Life in BC’s Interior ($18.95).
