Nana follows her heart

Author and illustrator Moreah Sinclaire of Richmond was born in Winnipeg. Her experiences as a grandmother, known as Nana, motivated her to e-publish her 60-page collection of twelve short stories and thirteen coloured illustrations for Time Together Adventures of Becca & Nana (Self-published $45). Having never known her own grandmothers, the central character of Nana is intimidated and perplexed when presented with a grandchild. It has been years since has held babies. She resolves to simply open her heart–and this works. Sinclaire’s stories recount actual experiences with her granddaugher Becca from her infancy to age three. “The toddler learns to trust, listen to & love Nana and Nana learns to be patient, wise, and have fun!” The digital version of the book appears in the form of two 30-page books: Time Together, Adventures of Becca & Nana Books 1 and Book 2.
