Midnight Train to Prague (HarperCollins $24.99), about a young woman caught up in World War II’s tragic turmoil is Carol Windley’s fourth title. The protagonist, Natalie Faber looks for her husband in Prague but ends up in a concentration camp where she makes a strong connection with a young girl named Anna. Windley’s story collection Home Schooling (Comorant 2006) won the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize; and Visible Light (Oolichan, 1993) took the Bumbershoot/Weyerhaeuser Prize. 978-1443461023
