Burnaby’s Aidan Chafe follows up his first collection of poetry Short Histories of Light (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2016) with Gospel Drunk (University of Alberta Press $19.99), one person’s journey to find clarity and identity as he contemplates his Catholic upbringing and struggles with loneliness and alcohol addiction.
