December 04th, 2020

Teresa Hedley’s debut book, What’s Not Allowed? A Family Journey with Autism (Wintertickle Press $25.95) is about her autistic son, Erik and her family including two other children. The story offers an uplifting approach to mining the best version of each of us, autism or not. Teresa and Erik co-wrote a twenty-article series for Autism Ontario’s Autism Matters magazine entitled, I Have Autism and I Need Your Help. Additionally, Teresa Hedley has worked with families and school boards in Ottawa as an autism consultant and advocate. Teaching stints in Europe and Asia shaped Teresa’s perspective and informed her writing. She now lives with her husband and Erik in Comox. 9781989664018
