Annabella (First Choice Books 2015) is the story of the unlikely pair of a clumsy moose and a grumpy possum who are forced to spend a winter together. After living in Jasper National Park, pharmacy van Netten was inspired to bring these forest creatures to life in her own way. As van Netten’s debut publication this children’s picture book is also illustrated by the author using watercolour and gouache illustrations that play with the white space of the page.  Born in Vancouver, Natasha van Netten has recently been awarded the Robin Hopper VVALS Legacy Award and is graduating from the Vancouver Island School of Art with a Diploma of Fine Art in 2016.
