With her business partner Glenna Collett, book designer Fiona Raven of Vancouver-based Fiona Raven Book Design has self-published Book Design Made Simple (12 Pines Press / Sandhill $59.95), a 500-page guide to designing and typesetting a book for non-designers and designers alike. A self-taught book designer since 1995, Raven has had far-flung clients from Japan, Saudi Arabia and Tonga. Born in England, she first arrived in Vancouver in 1964.  978-0-9940969-0-6
