Ormsby Review editorial statement
October 20th, 2018
The Ormsby Review works with writers, publishers, and literary professionals to promote books published by or about British Columbia in all its diversity. We review books by all authors, regardless of race, age, ability, gender or gender identity, ethnicity, religion, political belief, marital or family status, and/or status as an Indigenous, Métis, or Inuit person. We seek the same diversity with our reviewers.
“Diversity is opening the door and inclusivity is asking people to walk through it.” — Matt Hancock
Over the past two years, we’ve worked hard to create an inclusive and diverse book review journal for British Columbia — but we still have more to do.
Please join us.
