Hudson Mack: Unsinkable Anchor (Harbour Publishing $24.95) is not a maritime book; it’s a media memoir by a man has been one of the most recognizeable figures on television news for Vancouver Island. News achorman Hudson Mack surprised many viewers in  2004 when he “crossed the street” from CHEK-TV to The New VI. He left CTV Vancouver Island after a decade in 2014.
