Frankly speaking

SFU Writer’s Studio teaching assistant, Jenn Ashton has written a collection of short stories, People Like Frank: and other stories from the edge of normal (Tidewater $19.95) due out this October. The stories include: the tumultuous short-term relationship between a woman, an asparagus bag and a garbageman; a young woman in a group home investigating a mysterious knitted material; and an obsessed bag boy fighting with a squirrel.
