Five Indigenous writers

EVENT Magazine presents “Aboriginal Voices: an evening of poetry & prose,” featuring readings and discussion by five exciting Aboriginal writers: Joseph A. Dandurand (photo), Louise Bernice Halfe, Wanda John-Kehewin, Jules Koostachin and Philip Kevin Paul.

This is a free event open to the public on Thursday, November 16, beginning at 7 pm at the Aboriginal Gathering Place, on the fourth floor of Douglas College’s New Westminster campus (700 Royal Ave., near the New Westminster SkyTrain Station).

Refreshments will be served.
