Brown aims to reclaim her mother Doris’ life, which has been masked by her sudden death at the hands of a serial killer. With interviews Brown conducted with her sister and other relatives, she tells us who Doris was through essays and spoken word anecdotes. Colleen Brown is primarily known as a sculptor.
