Arsenal author up for Giller

francesca ekwuyasi’s debut novel Butter Honey Pig Bread (Arsenal 2020) about a family of Nigerian women dealing with unspeakable tragedy across various continents has been longlisted for the 2020 Scotiabank Giller Prize. It’s the third time an Arsenal Pulp author has appeared on the Giller longlist following Joshua Whitehead (for Jonny Appleseed) in 2018 and David Chariandy (for Soucouyant) in 2007. 9781551528236
