UBC professor of statistics, Dr. Jonathan Berkowitz is perhaps better known as the Word Guy on CBC Radio’s North by Northwest where he shares his lifelong passion for words, word puzzles and wordplay.
Dr. Berkowitz will be launching his new book, The Whirl of Words: Puzzling Past and Present (FriesenPress $25.99) at the Jewish Community Centre on Thursday, October 7, where he will be in conversation with Heather Glassman Berkowitz as part of the Jewish Book Festival.
