Surviving a drunk driver

After getting hit head-on by a serial drunk driver as she was driving home to Nelson in 2013, performer, singer, actor and director Pat Henman went through years of recovery and her daughter, Maia was left permanently disabled. Henman manages to tell her story of the catastrophic event, including the years of medical and legal battles they endured, in life-affirming and humorous ways in her first book, Beyond the Legal Limit (Caitlin $24.95).
