June 13th, 2024

During the pandemic lockdown, Rob Taylor found solace in a nearby wooded trail, where he worked and wrote haiku amidst nature. His latest poetry collection Weather (Gaspereau Press $25.95) is a continuation of his previous work, The News (‎Gaspereau Press, 2016). Weather chronicles the first three years of his daughter’s life through 156 weekly poems, reflecting on intimacy, contemplation and life’s small moments. Written in haiku, this collection captures the accumulative effects of these experiences, mirroring the 36 poems he wrote during his wife’s pregnancy with their first child for The News. 9781554472635
