Author Leslie Gentile’s latest book, Elvis, Me, and the Postcard Winter (DCB Young Readers $14.95), due out in November, is the sequel to her book, Elvis, Me, and the Lemonade Stand Summer. The story follows Truly, as she is adjusting to a new life at Eagle Shores Trailer Park. She now lives with Andy El, a Salish elder, cares for her puppy Gracie, and has developed a love for playing guitar—an instrument gifted by her pen pal, the supposedly deceased Elvis Presley. However, her world is shaken when her estranged mother, Clarice, reappears, seeking a second chance. Truly faces difficult decisions: can she forgive Clarice, and if so, will she have to leave her new life with Andy El behind? Throughout the winter, Truly has much to write to Elvis about. 9781770867666
