Early British Columbia and the Hudson’s Bay Company: An Aboriginal Perspective

Most of the observations of early British Columbia were written by Europeans. We don’t have a lot of writings from Aboriginal people not filtered by contemporary people.  An exception is a letter written by several First Nations Chiefs to Prime Minister Laurier. This video covers the context and the letter.
