Soldier on!

March 07th, 2013

Good on ya, B.C. BookWorld. It’s no mean feat to survive in today’s “book world” with so many readers. My own publisher, Heritage House—still paying me royalties on time and modestly boasting that it “remains solvent and mildly profitable”—is proof that, given D&M’s troubles, that size is no guarantee of success. Soldier on! Meanwhile my 14th book since 2003 rolls off the presses in May: Rum-Runners and Renegades, Whisky Wars of the Pacific Northwest, 1918-2012, as a companion to the recently published Scoundrels and Saloons, Whisky Wars 1840-1917.
