Roots to Branches Launch

March 17th, 2026

Federation of BC Writers (FBCW) will launch Volume 4 of its Roots to Branches anthology series on March 31 at 7:00 pm (PDT), bringing together winning and shortlisted entries from the 2024 Literary Contests.

Hosted by Rachel Dunstan Muller, managing editor of FBCW Press, the virtual event will feature readings from contributors across creative nonfiction, flash fiction, poetry and short fiction. The anthology showcases emerging and established writers from across British Columbia, highlighting a wide range of voices and styles.

The free online gathering will take place via Zoom, with digital doors opening at 6:55 pm. Attendees can expect an evening of live readings and conversation celebrating the latest collection in the Roots to Branches series. The event will also be recorded for those unable to attend live.
